Philosophy:
St. Xavier Parish School's quality and professionalism consist of a program that fosters competency in relation to all aspects of the child's growth and development within a Christian, value-oriented environment.
We are committed to the development of the whole child - spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, and social. A position that springs from the fundamental purpose of an all Catholic education namely, to prepare the child for life here and in the hereafter. In seeking to develop the whole child in all of his or her capacities, St. Xavier Parish School endeavors to include in the curriculum all types of experiences. These experiences are calculated to develop the ideals, attitudes, and habits demanded for Christians to live in our modern, global society.

Organizational Structure:
St. Xavier Parish Pastor- By Canonical and legal status, the Bishop of the Salina Diocese is responsible for the educational mission of the Diocese of Salina, in which this parish is a component. Since the pastor of the parish is the official delegate of the Bishop in the "teaching mission" of the Roman Catholic Church, the administration, school council, faculty and staff work under superintendence of the pastor of the parish.
St Xavier Parish School Principal- The principal is the functional leader of the pre-school, elementary, and secondary school and is responsible for the administration and supervision of the instructional and support staff. They insure the efficient operation of the parish school. And, is accountable to the Pastor, the Diocese and the State of Kansas Department of Education.
St. Xavier Parish Faculty- All teachers are responsible for the academic instruction of the students, the evaluation, grading, and promotion of academic achievement and the maintenance of discipline and Christian values. Faculty members must possess a current Kansas State Teaching Certificate.
St. Xavier Parish School Council- The School Council is an advisory panel made of parents and parishioners, which make recommendations by legislative consensus, relating to curriculum and quality of Catholic education in the school.

Accredition:
St. Xavier Parish School is accredited by Kansas Department of Education and the North Central Association. The school is authorized by the Immigrant Naturalization Service (INS) to accept F-1 Nonimmigrant Students.

Class Size:
The control of a class size is important to the relationship a teacher can establish with a student. At St. Xavier Parish School every effort is made to keep classes to a 24 student limit. If the number of enrollees for a class exceeds that amount, a teacher aide may be added to the class or the students will be placed on a waiting list.

Registration, Tuition, Fees and Financial Assistance:
Pre-Registration for students currently at St. Xavier Parish School is held in May and June of each year. At this time, the registration fee is required along with a contract commitment.
Formal Registration for the entire campus is in the month of August each year. Each school office will have notified each family of the amount of tuition due by August 1. Parents are responsible for curriculum and per-season activity fees at the time of formal registration. The remainder of the tuition is paid in ten-month increments with the completion of payments due the end of May each year.
Baptism Records are required for Catholic students entering St. Xavier Parish School for the first time and not baptized at St. Francis Xavier Church.
Preliminary records required for new students include a birth certificate, a Kansas Certification of Immunization, a social security number, and an emergency contact card. Immunization Certification for all students regardless of age is required by the state by the state of Kansas.
Tuition is paid either as a direct installment or by arranged tithing through the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church offertory. Tuition for the St. Xavier Parish Pre-School students is $85.00 a month for the two-day program, $115.00 a month for the three-day program and $175.00 per month for the five-day program. For students attending K-12 tuition is $2,800.00 for the first student in a single family, $1,300.00 more for the second student and an additional $100.00 per each student thereafter. Tuition is paid in ten-month increments with the first payment due in August and the completion of payments due the end of May each year.

International Student Petionioners:
St. Xavier Parish School is authorized by the Department of Immigration and Naturalization to process student visas for category F-1 non-immigrant students seeking an American education. As a requirement, the student must attend non-state supported school or private institution in order to be eligible to come into the United States.

Parents Role in Education:
It is your right and your duty to become the primary role models for the development of your child's life--physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, morally, and psychologically. Your choice at St. Xavier Parish School involves a commitment and exhibits a concern for helping your child recognize God as the greatest good in his or her life.
Parents are encouraged to actively participate in school activities such as the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Parent-Teacher Conferences and Fund-Raising events. Volunteers are always welcome.
